Lately, the three of us Goldens have gotten to discussing some serious topics. Grant loves to talk politics, and Tori's big on religion, so back in the dog house we recently had a chat about the bible. Yeah, that bible. Here's what we chewed on for a few hours . . ..

Sure. There are nicer things to write about. But we’ve all been there, and we’re often stumped.

The dog has diarrhea. It’s very common but sometimes quite difficult to resolve. Our first inclination is to try and understand what’s causing it: did the pup get into something when we weren’t watching? Are we feeding the pup the right food? Is there a food allergy? A virus, perhaps? Who knows. But it’s happening and we want it to stop . . . for our sake and the dog’s! You can always call your veterinarian for advice. You can also try to figure it out on your own, at least initially. Fasting, a bland diet, and pumpkin are but a few of the remedies.

For a comprehensive guide to getting the pups upset tummy back to normal, read this article in AZ Animals. It’s excellent!
