Red and Scout

The beautiful dogs got rescued more than a year ago after their mom suddenly passed. Red and Scout are eight-year-old Australian Shepherd and Boxer mixes. They are brother and sister and are a bonded pair. They are warm and loving to anyone they meet but are not friendly with other dogs. They are good with kids of all ages. Red and Scout are at that sweet age where they still have the energy to run around and play but can be calm in the house and love nap time. They both do well in the car and love to take long car rides with the windows down.

Red is a giant cuddle bug, and his favorite place to be is right by his human. His interests include pets, scratches, meeting new people, and sniffing cars. No matter the activity, Red likes to be involved in it. His sister Scout is an intelligent and curious girl. She enjoys inspecting new things and places. She calls the shots but is also a good listener and follows directions well. While she isn’t as cuddly as her brother, she will still climb right up into your lap. Scout’s interests include keeping an eye on the neighborhood, chasing Red, treats, and barking at dogs on TV.
