Daj was surrendered to a kill shelter after his owner ended up in the hospital during the pandemic. It is a heartbreaking story, but unfortunately, one that happened a lot last year. The rescue organization scooped him up, and life for this little senior has been a bit easier since then. Daj is visually impaired, and because of that, he gets startled when someone approaches him suddenly. He’s full of fear due to all he’s recently experienced.
