This is Maisie Joy. A kind lady found her outside in her yard one day, but she had another unfriendly dog who didn’t want Maisey around, so she ended up at the shelter. Thankfully, her foster parents are letting her crash at their house until her furever family arrives.
Maisey has so much joy in her heart!! She’s only 2 years old; however, she’s already had a litter of pups. She’s spayed now, thanks to her foster parents!
Her breed is unclear, but her foster’s believe she is at least part German Short Hair Pointer. She loves to talk and tell you what’s on her mind. She loves to run and play, and she adores walks. Her perfect family would be very active! She’s good with car rides too; she just needs dramamine first. She loves toys and bones! Her foster parents have crate trained Maisey, so she knows what she’s supposed to do when they say to “kennel up.” She is also very interested in her foster kitty, so a cat may be okay in the household. Talk to GSAR about this.
Gimme Shelter Animal Rescue requires adopters to have a safe and secure backyard. Not electric or Fido fences, as they are not as safe at containing dogs or keeping other animals or people out. For these reasons, they do not adopt to homes with electric or Fido fencing.
The adoption fee is $500, which includes age appropriate vaccines, microchip, monthly flea, tick and heart worm preventatives at time of adoption and age appropriate spay/neuter.
