According to NBC Denver affiliate, 9News, more than 5,300 U.S. Postal Service employees were attacked by dogs while delivering the mail in 2022. They report that Denver was tied for 17th nationwide, with 19 dog attacks on postal workers. The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) said aggressive dog behavior is a common safety concern among its employees.
