The rise of “maker” tools such as 3D printers, laser cutters, and other fabrication tools has made it easier than ever to create “one-off” design solutions specifically catered to specific needs. For some of our “not-quite-four-legged” friends, this has been a blessing for customized assistant aids that help them get moving again. In this video from YouTuber Simone Giertz, she walks through her process of creating a customized exoskeleton for her three-legged friend.
