The good news when it comes to dog nutrition is that if you enjoy feeding your dog human food, there’s a bounty of good, safe, nutritious food you can feel good about the pup eating. However, there are foods you definitely want to avoid altogether, and others you want to be careful with.

When it comes to human food, there are the ones we all know about — the definite no-no’s — like chocolate. You can add salty foods, grapes & raisins, and even avocado to the do-not-feed-to-Fido list. And there are others you’ll want to think twice about. If you’ve been feeding your dog certain foods, seemingly without any trouble, it’s possible that problems are brewing which will emerge in the future.
