Ricky

Ricky is a sweet, gentle, loving soul! He is a five to six-year-old handsome Shepherd mix who weighs approximately 77 lbs. Ricky is house trained. He’s not destructive when left at home. He loves going for walks and exploring the oudoors. He’s loves to snuggle and is wonderfully calm inside the house.

Ricky is in excellent health and always greets his Foster mom with joy when she gets home! He gets along with other dogs but we do not know how he would do around cats. His ideal home would be with humans who have time to spend loving him and keeping him company along with a fenced backyard.

Ricky is currently in New York City which is not an ideal living situation for a dog his size. He is neutered and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines.

Ricky’s adoption fee is $275. Gimme Shelter requires adopters to have a fully secured backyard. They do not accept electric or invisible fences because they do not keep all dogs safely contained.
