Pooh Bear was quite sick when she was saved by the truly remarkable ranch staff at Marley’s Mutts. As soon as they rescued her, she began to fail and was rushed to emergency in Woodland Hills.

They discovered she was severely anemic, which led to further tests and imaging. Her intestines had telescoped into each other. It’s called Intestinal Interception, and without surgical intervention she would have passed. She had three to four inches of her intestines resected, and she’s now fully recovered and ready for her forever home.

Pooh Bear is so wonderfully sweet! And, now that she’s feeling better, she’s playful and a lot of fun. She’s currently fostered with other dogs and a cat and doing well with all. This little lady is lucky to be alive, and we’re very hopeful she’ll be lucky enough to score an amazing family of her very own.

Cheers to Pooh Bear!
