John Stessel, a magician, has found a new audience for his tricks: shelter dogs at the St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center in New Jersey. His performances, which leave the dogs flabbergasted and determined to uncover the secrets behind the disappearing treats and toys, help increase their chances of being adopted. Despite being allergic to dogs, Stessel’s efforts have been successful, as many of the dogs featured in his videos have found permanent homes and loving families.
