So, here we have a dynamic duo, Pam and Jim. A pair of Great Pyrenees, assumed to be littermates, about two years old, who the folks at Marley’s appear to be having quite a lot of fun with . . . they describe the pair as two goof balls!!

We here at Love, Dog would like to change that to two beautiful goof balls!

The pair was picked up as strays near Bakersfield, CA. and taken to the Bakersfield Animal Care Center. Hope of them being claimed by their owners were dashed. It’s not clear why, but there is some suspicion that entropion issues with their eyes may have something to do with it. Marley’s Mutts says that the adopters of these dogs will have to look after their eye condition with their veterinarian.

Pam and Jim get along beautifully. They are believed to be littermates, so there’s a desire to keep them together, but it’s not a requirement. If they’re separated, ideally there will be another fun dog in the household for them to play with.

Lastly, both pups need to learn some manners, but those are being worked on as we write this. The important thing will be for their new human companions to continue with the training. And after that, it seems like a lot of joy will come your way if you decide to bring one or both these gorgeous dogs into your family.
