Howls From The Founder
In our latest podcast episode, #9, Drew and I take the deep dive into brain development with neuroscientist Kathy Murphy. She explains how dogs’ brains develop throughout their lives starting in puppyhood. It’s a really big deal because if you understand some of the basics and get things right in puppyhood, you'll set the dog up for success! That means a happier dog, and a lot more joy from your companionship.

Sweet Lea is waiting for her forever home. This shy little momma truly lucked out when the shelter took her in with her three babies. Her story is heartbreaking; Lea was dumped and very pregnant. Her former owner didn’t show her any love nor give her any attention. She was forced to live outside and they didn’t want to keep her puppies after they were born. Despite all she had endured in her short life, Lea is shy but oh so sweet and fantastic with other dogs. Lea’s forever home is outside the city due to her shyness. It has a fenced yard and kind humans who are patient. Currently, she is in a foster home and has a foster brother and sister. Lea loves to wrestle and chase them around. When not outside, she is curdled up on the couch next to them. This 2-year-old beauty is housebroken and great on the leash. If you are looking for a snuggle bunny, Lea is the one for you. Don’t hesitate and hit the adopt button.
