Cooper is sweet, gentle, and brave, and he’s a champion for underdogs everywhere!  Cooper inspired the great people at Marley’s Mutts from the moment they saw him! Even huddled up in the confines of his shelter kennel, he cared for another pup . . . a small, scared puppy who they believed was his son. He provided comfort when he and the pup both needed it the most, and there was no way they could leave either of them behind. That kind of nurturing spirit should be cherished, not killed due to shelter overpopulation.

Cooper brought his spirit — think of it as light and love — with him to Marley’s Mutts! He was an amazing and kind boy who just needed the chance to be seen, so they’re are making sure to show the world what an absolutely wonderful dog he is! Cooper is a big boy (over 70 pounds), but you almost wouldn’t know it. He has an easy personality and a gentle nature. There’s no bull in a china shop with this boy. He’s calm, just a bit shy, and so incredibly affectionate with everyone. He’s quickly becoming a ranch and volunteer favorite and will be the perfect family dog for the family lucky enough to snap him up.
