First, a quote from our new podcast episode
“There’s no reason that our dogs need to live only two-thirds of their lifespan. We can make a difference.” |Dr. Randy Aronson, VMD, CCRT, CVA

On Friday, we released Episode 12, Part 2 of our podcast series on holistic and integrative veterinary care and how it can be combined with traditional western, allopathic modalities for the best possible outcomes. Western medicine has developed a remarkable spectrum of hyper-advanced scanning and screening technologies, and what’s now available for human patients is translating seamlessly to the non-human animal world. With these tools, veterinarians have a window into our pets’ foundational health that they’ve never had. Therefore, the diagnosis (including early detection), treatment, management, and prevention of illness has entered a new and exciting phase, and we can look forward to our pets living longer, more enjoyable lives. Just like in the human realm, our aim is to sustain a good quality of life for as long as possible! It seems we’re making great strides!
In Part 2 with Dr. Randy Aronson, I play the role of the client and specifically ask him the best way to feed your dog . . . and he comes through for us in a big way!! We also have an illuminating conversation about supplementation, prevention, and several of the most common illnesses he and most veterinarians see in their practices on a daily basis. We discuss biome—microbiome—in this interview, as we have in earlier episodes with other guests. Since this [hot] topic continues to come-up, we’ll plan an entire show on it because gut health appears to be the gateway to excellent physical wellbeing and even mental fitness. And, it’s equally relevant to humans and dogs! You may be interested in two premium gut health products in our online store, ION* Gut Support for Pets and Daily, by Gussy’s Gut.
