George Plimpton
George Plimpton was the editor of The Paris Review and the author of more than fifteen books, including works of participatory journalism such as Paper Lion and Shadow Box. He also wrote two children's books, The Rabbit's Umbrella and Pet Peeves. The Honorary Fireworks Commissioner of New York City, Plimpton had a lighter side to him one might not have expected. He adored his friends and family, which over the years also included two cats, Mr. Puss and Shadow, as well as a yellow Lab named Ernest.
